Hey everyone, 
    

My name is Brandon Lorencio Connor and I am the selected youngster to represent St. Thomas- St. John in 2008 friends of Denmark Student exchange.  I'm writing this letter in the hopes of us getting to know each other a little better before we meet.
   
    I was born and raised on the beautiful island of St. Thomas.  I currently live with my mother, Jakie, and father ,Ivo, on the western part of the island. Being the youngest of 6 older sisters and 2 older brothers i have developed strong family values. I find that i enjoy time spent with my family and closest friends the most precious times of my life.
    I am in my final year of high school and will graduating on JUNE 08th!!!!! from Charlotte Amalie High School located in the Virgin Islands capital of Charlotte Amalie.  I am involved in a bunch of extracurricular activities such as debate and political teams, JROTC, and i host at teen talk show as well as my schools radio show.  In my spare time though i enjoy modeling, Piloting( real planes), running/swimming, going to the gym, reading, dancing, writing/reciting poetry, theater/drama, meeting new people/learning new cultures. listening to music ( i am open to just about all types of music), socializing with friends, and most of all just lazing about at the beach somewhere and sleeping :-).  I used to work at a Yacht Marina until recently where my various activities started conflicting with my working schedule and i had to stop. 

    After high school I plan going on to double major in economics and computer science.   I  plan on using those fields to improve my home and nation though politics.  Having an extensive view on diffrent cultures and perspectives will be invaluable to achieving my goal.
